Light Truck Production Line
The light truck production line is a highly systematic and automated process, which includes multiple key steps and corresponding automated equipment to ensure production efficiency and product quality. The entire production process is mainly divided into four major technologies: stamping, welding, painting, and assembly.
Stamping Process: Metal sheets are processed into required body parts.
Welding Process: The stamped parts are welded into the vehicle body frame, with a particular emphasis on the rigidity of the frame for heavy trucks.
Painting Process: The body undergoes cathodic electrophoresis for rust prevention and is then painted to form a protective layer.
Assembly Process: This includes the assembly of key components such as interior, chassis, and engine to ensure vehicle performance.
The final assembly and testing production line further carries out interior assembly, performance testing, road testing, and final inspection to ensure vehicle quality. In addition, the light truck production line also includes two modes: SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) and CKD (Completely Knocked Down). The SKD model involves the import of major automotive assemblies such as engines and cabs, which are then finally assembled in the destination country, suitable for countries with a good industrial base. The CKD model is where parts are completely disassembled and imported, and the entire assembly process is completed in the destination country, helping to improve the local automotive industry's technical level, promote industrial upgrading, and increase the localization rate.
With the development of technology, some light truck production lines have begun to integrate automated equipment such as robots and laser measurement systems, and may be equipped with MES systems to monitor production progress in real time, optimize resource allocation, and improve intelligent management level, thereby ensuring the high performance and reliability of light trucks.
The process of the light truck production line emphasizes every aspect from raw materials to the complete vehicle, while the final assembly and testing production line focuses on detailed inspection and performance testing after the complete vehicle assembly, ensuring that the final product can meet market and consumer needs.
